Project:

Princeton University Dillon Gym

Description:

This project involves the renovation of an existing gym facility and construction of a 2-story addition on the southeast corner of the building. In an effort to reduce carbon emissions for construction & operation and target LEED Gold, the project was structured around an IDP process; all stakeholders were involved from the very beginning. Aligning with Princeton’s goals for the Dillon Gym expansion project, key design side efforts were made to renovate the existing building, use mass timber for the addition’s structure, use the addition’s façade to maximize energy efficiency, enhance stormwater management, specify healthier materials and use energy-efficient equipment.
